Every girl looks forward to Prom Night. Every girl wants to look like a princess and dance with her prince.
That wasn't the case for me. After many jerky boyfriends in the past, i decided to give up boys for a while. When Prom came there was no one in my sights at the time. I just wanted have fun with my friends...so when I arrived at Prom, they all had dates and once again became the lone wolf. Even if I did have a date I wouldn't have danced, apparently the new dance craze is a sexually charged "dance" called "Grinding"
I didn't agree with that!
So I sat and watched the repulsive behavior being executed on the dance floor, I had my hair done, my nails done and slipped into a 400$ prom dress for this? I wanted to leave once i spotted my friends grinding as well, "God, I'm all dressed up and I'm having the worst day of my life. What do I do."
"May I have this dance?" A male with a masquerade mask offered his hand to me. I stared for a moment. "Well? is a pretty girl like you going to stare at me all night or are you going to dance?"
"No, I'm sorry but I don't grind." I heard him laugh a bit.
"I figured that because you are sitting here alone, do you want to dance for real?"He said. I looked at him and smiled,"Okay." I didn't care who he was I was just didn't want to spend my Prom Night alone and besides, he sounded like a gentleman to me. he took me through the doors and we started to dance outside.
"Who are you?" I asked getting curious now.
"Emmanuel"
"That is an interesting name. Do you go to this school?"
"No not exactly."
"Then where are you from? for all i know you could've fallen right out of the sky."
Emmanuel looked at me and smiled. I laughed a bit as we danced but his face grew more and more convincing,"Yeah right. You honestly think that I'd believe-" I stopped myself. I took off his mask and it was the face of my father God staring back at me,"Hello my Princess." He said. My eyes welled in tears and i reached to touch my saviors face.
"But how?"
"I saw my daughter miserable on a day she dreamed of all he life. you are such a remarkable woman my dear daughter. such strength and such resistance toward sin. I am proud of you." He said to me. I laid my head on his shoulder as we danced and i laughed uncontrollably.
"I was going to kiss you at the end of the night! Why cant all men be like you father?"
"There are some men that follow me and obey my word, you just have to be patient. Don't think that all men are the same for they are certainly not."
"Thank you." I kissed my father on the cheek as he departed from me and faded into the distance. Then I was startled by a boy leaving the dance and bursting out of the doors.
"That dancing in there is incredibly disturbing! I'm leaving!" But i caught his hand and he faced me, "Then lets dance for real."

THE END.
Girls...God has a man out there for you. Don't worry one bit
One thing you should always say to yourself when a man treats you wrong or doesnt seem to be the way you expected and he's a jerk!
just tell yourself, "If a man isn't a gentleman, he's not a man at all."

AWWWWW...... I have been in situations like this all my life. Sometimes it's hard to be a Christian in a world like this, but God always comes through for me.
